The Eid/Longhi design addresses a common frustration in the studio: stakes that tip in the vise during hammering. These stakes include steel cross pins and washers that firmly fix the stake in your vise, keeping it stable and secure throughout your work.
The mounting system is straightforward and practical. If a bolt interferes with a particular forming movement, you can remove that bolt and still maintain solid stability from the remaining hardware. Replacement bolts, washers, and wing nuts are inexpensive and easy to source, keeping long-term costs low.
